This is a favorite quote from my novel, Campfire Confessions.
Can you relate? When your GPS took you around in circles in the shopping mall parking lot? Or when you laughed so hard you snorted…right in front of your crush?
I remember visiting my daughter in Ghana in 104-degree heat and 80% humidity who looked at me and declared “Mom, you’re a hot mess.” It was true! My body was lathered in an inch of dusty sweat, but I was full of joy and gratitude.
And that’s life, it can be one big mixing bowl of emotions and situations. My characters are “perfectly, imperfect” women who’ve messed up, but are strong, relatable and resilient. They ask the hard questions, laugh and cry with their friends while navigating life-changing adventures.
Whether it’s my women’s fiction novel, non-fiction empowerment handbooks, or my children’s books, you’ll find laughter, heartache, challenges, hope, and quiet victories.

Campfire Confessions

Enjoy belly laughs as you step into the life of the Owl, who wants to be kind and share his dock with the ducks. But he has one rule, “No pooping on the dock!” One by one the ducks disobey until they drive the Owl crazy!

On a personal note: I wrote this story for my two granddaughters who were five and two to prevent a major meltdown when they were overtired. My friend, Robin Marcus guided me on the illustrations. Thank you Robin! Many of the sale proceeds have gone to supporting cancer, literacy and humane society programs.
